What is Cellulite?
2 Major Components
1. Fat Cell
2. Unhealthy Connective Tissue
As the fat cell pushes up and out, connective tissue works to hold everything down and in (that is its job). As connective tissue becomes rigid and fibrous, circulation decreases causing dehydration, improper lymph drainage and fluid retention. Resulting in unhealthy connective tissue and fat cells that are unable to function properly.
Factors that Cause Cellulite
- Fat Storage/Excess
- Decreased Circulation
- Lymph Drainage
- Increased Fluid Retention
- Fibrous Connective Tissue
